Bio

I relocated from the East Coast and am finding that I am loving Indiana and Sacred Heart School!  Moving is a theme in my life, having lived in 19 places including Ethiopia, Thailand, and Maine. That has made for an interesting life, though leaving places and people behind is never easy.
My undergraduate degree is from Goucher College in Baltimore and Masters from the Ohio State University (Go Buckeyes!).  After a career as a college administrator I was a stay at home mom for a few years and then gained my teaching certification so I could teach elementary school.  All three occupations promote a good sense of humor, which is something I bring with me every day along with my deep faith.
Teaching Science and Religion at Sacred Heart for Fourth, Fifth and Six grades requires a zest for inquiry, a dose of creativity, an appreciation for our rich Catholic faith and a love for my students.  I employ all of these in full measure.  Thank you for sharing your sons and daughters with me.
