I am so excited to work with all of the kindergarten students this year in class! Mrs. Faroh and I are team-teaching and are having an awesome year together. Kindergarten is a wonderful step where “God and Education Lead the Way” on our educational journey.
I am married and have two sons who are alumni of Sacred Heart School. Bryce and Quinn both attend Ball State University and are involved in many campus activities. My hobbies include reading, traveling to tropical places, and spending time with family and friends.
This is my 30th year in education and I am thrilled to be teaching kindergarten at Sacred Heart School for the past 16 years. Prior to this, I taught 6th and 4th grades at Leesburg Elementary, part of the Warsaw Community School Corporation. I also taught 2nd and 3rd grades and high school students when I lived in the Indianapolis area. Upon college graduation I was a flight attendant and involved with recruiting and training for a major airline. While attending Ball State University, I had the privilege of teaching in Europe through their Overseas Education Program.
This year was especially special to me as I was awarded the Light of Learning Award for the 2017-2018 school year for outstanding teaching. I feel blessed to teach kindergarten at Sacred Heart School.
