James L. Faroh, Sr. Principal

Biography

I am the proud principal of Sacred Heart Catholic School.

This is my 45th year in education. I have been a teacher, coach, administrative assistant, athletic director, college professor, and principal. My career has included working with grades Preschool through Graduate degree courses. I have coached numerous sports, taught Art, Music, Physical Education, and High Ability students, and been a classroom teacher for grades four, five, & six. I have been a principal of a Catholic grade school, grades Preschool-8 for 13 years, principal of a Catholic High School for two years, and a principal in the public schools for nine years. This is my 10th year as Principal of Sacred Heart School. Although I have had many experiences in both Catholic and Public schools, with a wide range of grade levels, every day that I am in the educational setting, I learn something new. The "business" of education is ever growing and changing. It challenges everyone involved to continually evaluate and change to meet the needs of today and tomorrow's students.

I have been married to my wife, Patti, since 1983. Nine years ago Patti joined the Sacred Heart staff as the Academic Specialist and Special Programs Director and is now currently the 2nd grade teacher. We have two grown children, Michele and Jimmy. Both of our children are married.  Michele and her husband, Paul, have a son, Henry.  Jimmy and his wife, Stephanie, have a daughter, Elizabeth and are expecting a son, who will be named James Faroh III.  Patti and I are thrilled to be grandparents of three beautiful children!  Our treasured family pet is a Yorkshire terrier, Dino, who is five years old.  We live in Warsaw and are extremely happy living here.

Serving as the principal of Sacred Heart is truly a vocation that I am thrilled to embrace. It is an honor and privilege to join with the pastor, faculty, staff, families, parish, and community to continue the proud history of this school. It is my goal to use every resource available to me to develop and strengthen the educational program of this school. It is my mission to continue to carry out Sacred Heart's motto - "Where God and Education Lead the Way!"  Everyone is welcome to be part of the Sacred Heart Family!
